I receive 'unable to communicate with server' errors.
This error can be generated under the following conditions:
- You are not connected to the internet,
- Your firewall is blocking the application,
- You have not yet specified your proxy settings in the application.
If you have a firewall installed on your computer, it needs to be configured to allow MemberSMS access to the internet.
If you are on a network, you may need to specify your proxy settings. To configure your proxy settings, right click on the MemberSMS icon in the system tray and select 'proxy settings'. You can then specify your proxy settings. The settings that you need to specify will be specific to your network - please consult your network administrator.
